Reflection on the business of crafting

It’s been awhile since I posted last. I took some time to reflect on what I want the most. Over the past month I had to do some tracing and research to figure out if I’m doing something wrong or if I was doing something right. Im sure that every blogger, Instagramer, tweeter, and business owner can relate. Taking time to reflect on what’s working and not working is not only beneficial to ones inner being but to ones business as whole. I’m sorry to my peeps that have missed me so and wondered where I’ve been. I haven’t been very far away. One could find me on Facebook, Twitter or even on Instagram. Needless to say I have been working my tail off to bring some cards and art to the table.

I would like to share to those whom haven’t yet seen what I have been up to. Valentines Day is coming and here’s a peak at what I’m currently working on.

I’m here for you Valentines Card

Here’s a peak at what I have done. Each have their own unique personality. Please bare in mind that these are sample cards and not the actual product.

Playing with ink blending and stencils has given me a chance to get better. Learning tips and tricks. Here are samples of just card fronts not mounted on card mats or bases.

It’s fun playing with Hampton ink cubes of various colors found at Walmart and the heart stencil from Dollar tree. I also had to give it a go with ink smooshing spritzed with water. Of coarse this was done with a different set of stencils bought at Hobby Lobby!

I can say that I have been working hard in the studio/craft room. These past few months have a bit challenging and I’m getting all the challenges out of the way. You maybe wondering what that challenge may be. One, I have cluttered my studio/ craft room with goodies. Some I have used and some not used yet. I’m doing some rearranging and fitting in more space saver items. I’m looking forward to a more polished and professional look.

Stay tuned and be sure to subscribe, share and like. Changes are coming! Thank you all for sticking it out with me. Virtual hugs and see you the next time!
